- require different viewers and platforms, and have other distinguishing
- characteristics. Following are brief descriptions of the outputs available
- in RoboHelp Office. For more detailed information about each output, please
- see the online Help in each authoring tool. </p>

- <p>The RoboHelp family of products is for Help authors, technical writers,
- and developers who need to create online Help for desktop and Web-based
- applications. Here are the outputs available in RoboHelp Office:</p>

- <p>WebHelp Pro (formerly WebHelp Enterprise), an output type for Web-based
- applications, offers features you can only get with server-based Help.
- This format uncovers how people are using your Help system, allowing you
- to target problem areas and expand on frequently used areas of your system.
- WebHelp Pro's Usage Reports and natural language search give you real-time
- information about what users are asking in your Help system. You can update
- and continually refine the content based on actual user experiences, and
- your organization benefits because it can take action to resolve usability
- issues.</p>
- <p>Another server-based feature of WebHelp Pro is its project merging.
- Multiple authors work on separate projects and publish them to a server
- at any time. Teams can develop Help more easily since projects are merged
- on the server at run time. <br><br>This output runs on any platform and browser and is especially well suited
- with Web applications.</p>

- use elements from Flash to bring your Help system to life. Customize your
- icons, scroll bars, buttons, toolbars, and more. Use Flash animation,
- streaming video, audio, and graphics to enhance your output.</p>
- <p>FlashHelp solves Dynamic HTML limitations for Netscape browsers as well
- as firewall issues, eliminating the need for pure HTML. All end users
- need to view your Help system are Flash Player 6 and a Web browser. (Nearly
- 98 percent of all browsers in use have the free Flash Player installed.)</p>

- format. XML is the Extensible Markup Language. It is designed for structuring,
- storing, and sending information. In general, XML is used to store any
- kind of structured information and to pass this information between different
- computing systems that would otherwise be unable to communicate with each
- other.</p>
- <p>Specifically, XML is a data management system. In general, XML files
- simply contain data: they do not determine how this information displays.
- Consequently, an XML file relies upon an associated style sheet (.XSL,
- for example) to describe how the XML file should display. </p>

- numbers, headers and footers, title page, table of contents, index, and
- glossary (if applicable). <br><br>You can also output your printed documentation in PDF format. Your project
